------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever since i was a little girl i really liked the Alice in wonderland novel and the Disney movie!
When i got the message about the 'Picture yourself in wonderland' contest i was so happy
Tugley wood was always my favorite part in the movie. When i saw the Tim Burton version of the story i was even more excited . The colors and the atmosphere really inspired me to make this drawing!
If i was a character in the Alice in Wonderland story i would be living in the Queen of Heart's castle and wandering in Tugley wood every day wearing one of Alice's sweet dresses! I would be friends with the White rabbit's family and take them with me to look for Mome Raths (they are so cute).
Maybe i will make more Alice themed drawings in the future -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've always loved Alice in Wonderland, even my brother who is 23 now. Thinking had always looked at Alice when he was a small child. Alone how many were inspired by history, is breathtaking. That is why I see the picture more reminiscent back. At the time of the Fabulous, the innocent and naive in us. The darkness behind it shows the fear and where. A composition by way of uncertain and yet cute. The hare, the colors, but this is highly commendable. 5 stars and the whole thing comes in the Favourite.
I'm huge on Alice in Wonderland as well. I really loved the Disney movie, and was happy to hear that Tim Burton was coming out with one, but it was a little strange because I actually didn't realize that it was supposed to be a sequel until halfway into the movie. I sat there for quite awhile thinking it was a remake that had been Tim Burtonized, haha. The movie was definitely pretty, but I felt closer to the original story
Anyway, this is immensely cute. I would want a wonderland with dancing bunnies, too. The purplish pink ferns in the back are a great touch, and I love how they curl and sway~ The suit lamps are also great. If I could, I'd like to hang those in my room or something!
Yeah i like those lamps too. I have some of them hanging in my room actually , i love lanterns. I agree with you about the alice story, i liked the disney movie better but because i am a big Tim Burton fan i had to see his version too! It's so funny you said you thought it was a remake because that was my first thought too! Maybe i will make more alice in wonderland themed drawings in the future, it's still my favorite story

You inspire me to make some more Alice-themed/inspired work, too. I think the tea party scene has influenced me the most, haha.
